COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (Full-Time)
Job Description:
- Develop SOPs for the FPIC process
- Engage with communities and stakeholders to support project goals
- Facilitate training programs for community development
- Plan, monitor, and report on FPIC process activities
- Implement community-related programs and ensure effective stakeholder engagernent
- Identify and address tenurial conflicts in project zones
- Guide the design and delivery of FPIC and GESI training and capacity- building programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in anthropology, social sciences, forestry, soil science, environmental science, agriculture, or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, including planning, implementation, and monitoring, with a focus on agroforestry, carbon projects, or social engagement
- Strong understanding of FPIC (Free, Prior, and Informed Consent) and GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion)
- Ability to provide insights into social business development, financial projections, and agroforestry design
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Passionate about environmental sustainability and social responsibility
BIODIVERSITY OFFICER (Part-Time & Project Based)
Job Description:
- Lead the biodiversity team with a focus on endangered species and habitat restoration
- Manage project implementation, stakeholder coordination, and community engagement
- Conduct research, surveys, and monitoring to evaluate conservation effectiveness and support decision-making
- Organize dissemination and community development activities on biodiversity management
- Analyze and report biodiversity monitoring results, including data from field observations and camera traps
- Oversee performance, monthly evaluations, work plans, and contract preparation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in biology, forestry, environmental science, agriculture, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in biodiversity monitoring and conservation
- Strong knowledge of biodiversity, endangered species, and ecosystem restoration
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

CARBON SPECIALIST (Part-Time & Project Based)
Job Description:
- Lead carbon accounting methodologies for carbon modeling in AFOLU sectors using standards like SRN, Verra (VCS, CCB), or other relevant methodologies
- Support validation and verification audits for carbon projects in forestry, agriculture, and land use (AFOLU) sectors, ensuring compliance with recognized standards
- Collaborate with team members to develop and enhance validation and verification processes
- Work closely with the GIS team to integrate remote sensing, GIS data, and carbon accounting methodologies for evaluating carbon stocks, emissions reductions, and project impacts
- Assist the senior manager in implementing Project Design Documents (PDD) for carbon projects
- Review and evaluate reports, documents, and project activities for quality and accuracy
- Contribute to the strategic development of MRV systems for carbon modeling and Climate and Restoration Programs by improving services, generating innovative ideas, and enhancing project design and implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in forestry, soil science, environmental science, agriculture, or related fields
- Proven experience with carbon projects using SRN, Verra (VCS, CCB), or other recognized carbon standards
- Strong knowledge of forestry, agricultural practices, land use dynamics, and carbon accounting principles
- Familiarity with agroforestry, REDD+, afforestation / reforestation, and carbon offset methodologies
- Proficiency in remote sensing, GIS, and data analysis tools
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

GIS ANALYST (Full-Time)
Job Description:
- Perform comprehensive spatial analyses to support carbon project development's biodiversity, climate, and community (CCB) aspects
- Conduct spatial data analysis and management, including remote sensing and related topics as required
- Execute field activities related to carbon project development
- Provide technical advice on the development of MRV applications as project deliverables
- Contribute actively to TruCarbon project activities, particularly in carbon project and system development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in geography, geodesy, forestry, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in geospatial analysis using GIS software
- Proficiency in GIS software and land use/land cover classification using remote sensing tools (e.g., QGIS, GEE)
- Hands-on experience with Google Earth Engine and spatial modeling in Python
- Understanding forestry, land use management, social issues, and sustainable development
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
- Passionate about environmental sustainability and social responsibility
