GIS Specialist
Medan, North Sumatera

Role Summary: Management of the Geographic Information System (GIS) including the accuracy and integrity of data entered, data retrieval from the system, and preparation of digital maps, sections and presentation figures from exploration data.

Responsibilities:

1. Solves problems using a combination of standard or modified procedures
2. Participates in planning objectives
3. Performs independent studies, and analyzes, interprets and draws own conclusions
4. Give periodic technical guidance to less experienced GIS staff assigned to work on a common project
5. Work independently within a business unit or center of excellence
6. Ensüres timely delivery of product in desired format and monitors new developments in the use of geographic information systems
7. May be considered an expert within a specific Gis discipline

Requirements:

• A degree in the related job field
• Those with 1 to 2 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role will have an advantage but not essential
• Willing to relocate to the job location
