Junior GIS Specialist - Map the Future of Sustainability
Location: Jakarta (Work From Office)

Do you see the world in maps and data? Ready to use your geospatial expertise to fight climate change? As a Junior GIS Specialist, you'll work on projects that drive sustainable forestry and environmental conservation while supporting cutting - edge carbon market initiatives.

What You'll Do

1. Build and manage GIS databases for impactful environmental projects
2. Create visualizations and maps that tell the story of carbon offset projects
3. Analyze land use changes and process satellite imagery to assess environmental impact
4. Contribute to forest inventory mapping and analyze carbon stock, biomass, and sequestration potential
5. Monitor forest cover changes and assess deforestation patterns using remote sensing tools

Who You Are

• A geospatial enthusiast with a degree in GIS, Geography, or Environmental Science
• Skilled in ArcGIS or QGIS with a knack for spatial analysis and cartography
• Meticulous with data accuracy and detail-oriented in your work
• Bonus: Familiar with carbon markets, REDD+ projects, or environmental standards
