Plant Pathology Officer

We are looking for a Plant Pathology Officer specializing in routine disease testing to support our breeding and research teams. The ideal candidate will conduct disease screening, collaborate with breeders to evaluate plant resistance, and analyze data to provide actionable insights. This role requires strong plant pathology knowledge, data analysis skill, and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform routing disease testing collaboration with breeders and others
2. Analyze disease resistance data and generate reports to support decision-making
3. Maintain and improve disease testing protocols to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
4. Utilize Microsoft Office and data analysis software for data management and reporting
5. Work closely with breeders and researchers to align testing methodologies with breeding objectives
6. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with standard operating procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Plant Protection, Plant Pathology, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of plant pests and diseases
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis software
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail in Interpretation disease testing and data
• Willing to work in Purwakarta
