PROCUREMENT ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To convert all Purchase Requests assigned to become Purchase Order within the stipulated timeline
• To conduct the procurement process in line with the company's procurement policy and procedures of buying the right product/s from the right supplier/s at the right price, quality, delivery schedule and terms and conditions by:

1. Ensuring specification of purchase requirements both technically as well as commercially are properly done prior to making / sending out enquiries to the vendors
2. Sourcing, pre-qualifying and selecting the right vendors to participate in the tender exercise
3. Obtaining price quotations, compiling them to proper commercial bid evaluation, for commercial analysis and award recommendation
4. To negotiate with vendors in order to get the best value deals for the company

REQUIREMENTS:

• Person of highest level of integrity with strong sense in commercial matter, highly independent and reliable
• Able to work under high pressure, tight deadlines and willing to be relocated to any site upon requirement
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any major
• Min 3-5 years of working experience as Procurement or similar fields
