Responsible Tailings Facility Engineer (RTFE)

OVERVIEW

• This role oversees the safe design, operation, and compliance of the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF), working closely with the Engineer of Record. Key responsibilities include design implementation, performance monitoring, risk management, and regulatory reporting, while ensuring alignment with environmental and safety standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Min. Bachelor's Degree (SI) from Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field
• Min. 8 years of experience in tailings facility design, operation, and management
• Strong knowledge of tailings dam stability, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeology, and environmental management
• Familiarity with GISTM and ICMM
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to conduct field assessments and manage contractors / consultants
