Starbucks Farmer Support Center (FSC) Indonesia is opening an exciting position for a Junior Agronomist on a one-year contract under the collaborative TEKAD Project to support coffee development in Indonesia.

The selected candidate will receive training and have the privilege of in-depth learning to strengthen their technical capacity in coffee. Fresh graduates and experienced candidates are welcome to apply if you meet the following requirements and responsibilities:

Responsibilities

1. Manage the coffee nursery under supervision of FSC Team
2. Conduct training sessions for individual or groups of farmers collaborate with Starbucks suppliers
3. Visit farmers regularly as part of daily activities
4. Collect data as required and take on additional agronomic responsibilities as assigned by the Starbucks FSC team
5. Collaborate with Starbucks suppliers to conduct training and farmer visits according to FSC team directions
6. Submit a monthly report of activities and connect weekly with the FSC team at a scheduled time

Requirements

• Graduate of D3/S1 in Agronomy or a related field (Plant Breeding, Soil Science, Pest & Disease, or equivalent)
• Willing to work in coffee production areas (Gayo, Toba, and Bandung); local candidates are preferred for each region
• Hold a valid motorcycle driving license (C) and own a motorbike
• Basic English communication skills are required
• Position Type: Full-time (1-year contract)
