Berdiri pada 6 September 2004, PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (Harita Nickel) adalah perusahaan pertambangan dan hilirisasi nikel terintegrasi yang berkantor pusat di area Kecamatan Tanah Abang Kota Jakarta Pusat Provinsi Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta. Sebagai bagian dari konglomerasi Harita Group, perusahaan ini beroperasi di Pulau Obi, Halmahera Selatan, Maluku Utara.

Harita Nickel fokus bergerak di bidang penambangan nikel hulu hingga peleburan (smelter) dan pemurnian (refinery) nikel hilir didukung dengan fasilitas pengolahan nikel saprolit (untuk feronikel) dan nikel limonit (fasilitas High-Pressure Acid Leach atau HPAL untuk memproduksi material bahan baku baterai EV).

PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk resmi menjadi perusahaan terbuka dan mencatatkan sahamnya di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) sejak 12 April 2023 setelah melakukan Penawaran Umum Perdana Saham (IPO) dengan kode saham NCKL.

Obi Industrial Estate has become one of the National Strategic Projects according to Presidential Decree No. 109, 2020 about The 3rd Change of Presidential Decree No.3, 2016 about The Acceleration of the National Strategic Project. The project will be carried out by PT Trimegah Bangun Persada with its subsidiaries, namely PT Gane Permai Sentosa, PT Halmahera Jaya Feronikel, and PT Megah Surya Pertiwi, as well as associated companies, including PT Halmahera Persada Lygend. We are committed to implement the government’s mandate in increasing the added value of nickel resources and providing optimal benefits for all stakeholders, including the government, communities around the operational area, shareholders, and thousands of employees originating from the local region. We produce Ferronickel metal with ore from our mines by using RKEF tehcnology (Rotary Kiln Electric Furnace).
