Berdiri pada tanggal 22 Juli 2002, PT Urecel Indonesia adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi specialty foam (busa khusus) seperti busa outdoor dan busa filter dengan pabrik berlokasi di area Kecamatan Cikupa Kabupaten Tangerang Provinsi Banten dan Kecamatan Mlonggo Kabupaten Jepara Provinsi Jawa Tengah.

Urecel merupakan satu-satunya produsen busa filter di Indonesia dan pemimpin global dalam teknologi reticulated foam untuk berbagai industri. Memang perusahaan ini memiliki ikatan sejarah dengan Korea dimana perjalanan merek ini (Urecel Quickdry) berawal dari Korea pada tahun 1997, namun saat ini merupakan perusahaan manufaktur busa yang berkantor pusat di Tangerang, Indonesia.

PT Urecel Indonesia fokus memproduksi busa berstandar internasional yang didistribusikan ke pasar global dengan aplikasi pada berbagai sektor seperti furnitur & outdoor, produk Urecel berupa busa khusus untuk bantalan luar ruangan yang cepat kering (quick dry foam). Lalu di sektor otomotif, perusahaan menghasilkan komponen busa untuk interior kendaraan. Di sektor filter & industri, Urecel memproduksi busa filter khusus yang digunakan untuk penyaringan udara dan cairan. Dan di sektor pengemasan (packaging) & lainnya, perusahaan merilis produk pelindung dan kebutuhan alas tidur.

The Urecel story began in Korea in 1997 with the establishment of a specialised foam production line including the region's first Hydro Blast Reticulation unit, brought in from Germany. Urecel has become the leading manufacturer of technical foam products to the automotive and electronics industries. Produced by the latest Laaderberg Maxfoam® machine so the quality consistency is always maintained. Urecel now employs around 150 people in Tangerang Indonesia with German, Korean and Australian expatriates.
