PT Comextra Majora® was started in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia in 1988. From the start, the nature of our business has always been based on trustworthiness, professionalism and integrity. We are continually developing and up grading our produce and product quality performance. The main objective of this approach is directed to reinforce the whole system in such a way that the desired quality level of our products, in relation to the food safety is sufficiently guaranteed. We have been implementing strictly guidelines on hygiene standard as well. With these circumstances in place, this improved and reinforced system should permanently have the confidence for the customer, trade chain parties and the government.

The History of PT Comextra Majora®, starting from the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, in 1988. This history originated from an old building rented for office, a place for drying agricultural commodities, and warehouse address at Jalan Andalas No. 39, Makassar. In this early period, UD Prakarsa Jaya Abadi was used as the forerunner of a business entity which was still oriented to local and inter-insular business. In view of the on-growing business in 1990-1994, another company, PT Prakarsa Jaya Adycitra was set up specifically more directed to export activities.

To anticipate the rapid development of the company, on March 18, 1994, PT Comextra Majora was established. Basically, PT Comextra Majora® is an amalgamation of all previously established companies. In 1997 the office of PT Comextra Majora® moved to its own building on Jalan Teuku Umar No. 111 - 113, Makassar, while the processing and warehouse is located at Jalan Salodong No. 66, Makassar. In 2002, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business management, including operations and supervision, the Board of Directors decided to move its headquarters, warehouses and processing facilities into an integrated complex on Jalan Salodong no. 66, Makassar.

Vision
It seems that a continued assessment on the current business operation and incessant exploration on new business frontiers will be an inevitable choice of policy. The management is ready, willing and able to anticipate any incoming challenges, and will accordingly seek to find appropriate problem solving. The consistent continued responsive assessment seems to be the most likely reflection of our business mobility in the coming days.

Mission
We realize that working closely with the farmers will, undoubtedly keep our business sustainable. We maintain such mutual relationship to strengthen farmers' position and to ensure the availability of raw-material regular supply of high quality standard. We serve the farmers with a free consultancy covering fertilization, new method of farming system, pests and diseases controlling, quality improvement and to some extent providing the high yielding plant materials and seed.

Our existence in the center of production areas has enabled us to build closer sourcing network to farmers who are especially the major shareholders in cocoa and cashew nut trading. No doubt this strategic location has so far, generated mutual benefits, advantages, and efficient network sourcing frontiers. At the end of our existence which we are standing by the farm gate, we eagerly to bring the best quality Indonesia produces with added value touch to the gates of global end-users.
