We are BGP, the world's largest - yet the leading integrated geophysical solution provider! BGP entered the Indonesian seismic exploration services market in 2002 as a joint venture with a local company, then established PT. BGP Indonesia in 2008 to independently undertake oil and gas exploration services. Since 2008, BGP Indonesia has completed more than 40 seismic acquisition projects for 26 clients around the country from Sumatra, Kalimantan to Papua.

BGP’s business covers seismic design, acquisition, processing and interpretation of 2D/3D seismic, VSP, GME and other geophysical services within all terrains of onshore, offshore, TZ, jungle and mountain. It has been BGP’s honor to provide services for all clients including bp, TotalEnergies, PetroChina, Pertamina, eni and Repsol.

Highlights
BGP Indonesia always pursues the implementation of localization policies and cultivation of local technician and management. More than 3,000 short-term workers in total were recruited in 2021, with the proportion of expatriates under 0.5%. More than 20 local staffs have been awarded the title "5-Star Employee" or "4-Star Employee" by BGP International since 2009, including one 5-Star and three 4-Star employees in 2021.

In 2021, we achieved the annual target of zero fatalities, zero lost time accidents, zero pollution and zero traffic accidents with a total of 3,334,404 man-hours zero recordable incidents, more than one million kilometers of safe driving, providing 34,107 HSSE training courses, 2,952 induction medical examinations and 48,382 times of health monitoring.

Indonesia is one of the most important tropical rainforest countries in the world, which has a very important position in preventing global warming and achieving carbon neutrality. BGP Indonesia always upholds the development concept "green mountains are golden mountains", and actively promotes the concept of environmental protection in its field operations and is committed to practicing environmental protection. BGP Indonesia will never start any project without the EIA permit and will make sure that the restoration of all seismic lines and camp’s reach the required standards.

As one of the leading geophysical service contractors in the world, BGP is willing to share its international experience and advanced techniques with the Indonesian energy industry. BGP Indonesia has been engaged and will continue to engage the development of the country and the industry for the benefit of local communities.

Social Services
BGP Indonesia attach’s great importance to fulfilling its social responsibility, actively participating in social welfare activities, and establishing a good corporate image among local communities.

In 2021 more than 50 donations of more than 10,000 USD were made to schools, hospitals, orphanages, churches and other public welfare institutions, as well as road repairing, water well drilling and other public welfare activities.
