Responsibilities

1. Responsible for doing hydrology and hydrogeology study as the process of technical approval (pertek) of effluents KLHK and other related Department
2. Responsible with groundwater and surface water modeling - developing conceptual and numerical models
3. Responsible for groundwater drilling, conducting slug tests, pumping tests, and pressure tests to understand ground-water flow and condition
4. Responsible Hydrochemical monitoring with groundwater chemistry, estimating the age of water and interaction between groundwater-surface water
5. Responsible manage surface drainage, calculating rainfall plan and catchment area, providing drainage design and pumping system
6. To communicate hydrological issues with Mine Planning, OPS, and Environmental department to solve the problem write a hydrological report for the government periodically

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Hydrology / Hydrogeology / Mine Engineering / Geology / Geotechnical with related experiences
• Considerable experience and exposure in mine dewatering, pumping bore production of groundwater, contaminated water site investigations, slop depressurization, and Acid Mine Drainage
• Familiar with planning, installation, and monitoring of dewatering well and piezometer bores
• Familiar with conducting pit slope depressurization programs, horizontal drilling & groundwater investigations, and project management
• Able to supervise hydrological database, data analysis and interpretation
• Familiar with groundwater and surface modeling - developing conceptual and numerical models
• Proficient with related hydrogeological software
• Closely liaison with other relevant departments (mine planning, mining operation, processing, project & environmental
• Minimum of 5-8 years working experience within the hydrogeology aspect of active operation mines and experienced in a melliferous mining operation environment will be preferred
• Willing to be placed in location (site-based) - Kotabunan, North Sulawesi
