Ecosystem Restoration Project Development & Management Assistant

Yayasan WWF Indonesia has been actively involved in ecosystem restoration through tree-planting initiatives across various landscapes. To enhance efficiency and effectiveness, the Reconnect+ platform has been developed as a monitoring system that supports restoration activities. As the scale of these initiatives grows, the organization seeks a dedicated coordinator to manage, evaluate, and oversee ecosystem restoration programs. The selected candidate will be based in Jakarta office and will have occasionally field visits and works in the landscapes of WWF Indonesia.

Scope Of Work

1. Manage and evaluate ecosystem restoration data across landscapes
2. Coordinate restoration activities in various landscapes
3. Oversee Reconnect+ program implementation for restoration activities
4. Collaborate with partnership teams to prepare restoration-related information and activities
5. Report progress and outcomes to the Director of Forest and Wildlife
6. Conduct monitoring and evaluation of restoration programs asing Reconnect+

Qualifications

• Educational background in Forestry. Biology, or Agriculture
• Proficiency in GIS tools, especially ArcGIS
• Familiarity with monitoring programs or applications
• At least 1 year of experience in ecosystem restoration
• Strong coordination and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze and manage spatial and restoration data
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

1. Effective management of restoration data and the Reconnect+ platform.
2. Well-coordinated and impactful restoration activities in priority landscapes
3. Timely and insightful reports supporting the Forest and Wildlife program
