PT SMART Tbk (Sinarmas Agribusiness and Food) is looking for Geographic Information System Internship, placement in Sinarmas Land, Thamrin Central Jakarta.

Job Summary: To support geospatial analysis for carbon sequestration, land-use planning, and renewable energy projects by leveraging GIS and remote sensing technologies. Focus on spatial data processing, environmental modeling, and land cover classification to assist in sustainable decision-making.

Job Requirements:

Min Final-year student or recent graduate in D4 or BSc (S1), in major: geography or cartography and remote sensing
Required skill(s): communication skill, details oriented, fast learner with excellent communication skill
Proficient in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS) and remote sensing platforms (Google Earth Engine, ENVI, SNAP)
Understanding of spatial data processing, raster / vector analysis, and geostatistics
Experience in land-use modeling, environmental impact assessment, and spatial planning is a plus
Knowledge of Python/R for geospatial analysis is preferred.
Strong analytical, teamwork, and communication skills
Willing to learn
Willing to join for 6 months (Full WFO) with commitment
Available to join ASAP
