JOB OVERVIEW:

• Lead and manage all underground mining operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of the mine plan. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling underground activities, managing teams and contractors, and driving performance in alignment with production, safety, and budgetary targets

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• WA 1st Class Mine Manager Certification or equivalent is highly preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the mining industry, with at least 5 years in an Underground Manager or Alternate Underground Manager role
• Proven leadership in mechanized hard rock underground mining operations
• Strong experience in mine engineering, planning, infrastructure, drill & blast, production, and contractor management
• Proficient in Deswik software (CAD, Scheduler) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent planning, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement abilities. Experience in statutory compliance, safety leadership, and risk management
• Willing to be placed in Poboya Underground and travel to all BRMS project areas
