Supervisor Grade Control Field

Responsibilities

Control activities related to Area Clearing, RC Drilling preparation and operations, as well as technical field sampling (Face, Channel, Floor, NaG) including ROM / Stockpile Area
Supervise and ensure that all sampling and processing activities are conducted in accordance with proper procedures to obtain truly representative results / samples. Knowledge of stockpile management and ore blending from various material characteristics to be mined is required
Coordinate with all field teams / personnel regarding Grade Control activities
Ensure that all employees within the Grade Control section comply with Standard Operating Procedures related to HSE and internal Grade Control technical procedures

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in mining operations, or 10 years in the same position within the mining industry (Grade Control - Senior Level)
Minimum Senior High School / Vocational High School (or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of orogenic-type mineral exploration techniques and sampling methodologies
Knowledge of rock mineralization and alteration, with an understanding of 3D geological modeling software considered an advantage
