Downstream Bioprocess Engineer
Requirements
- Minimum education is Bachelor's in Biochemical/ Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology, or related field
- Basic understanding of chromatography and filtration in biomanufacturing is preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of GMP principles and guidelines (e.g. CPОВ)
- Ability to interpret biochemical and psychochemistry test results to evaluate or troubleshoot operations
- Proficiency in aseptic handling
- Professional English proficiency
Job Description
- Perform Downstream (column packing, chromatography, NFF, and TFF) batch operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance with GMP and company standards
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency
- Accurately record and maintain GMP-related documentation, including Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), logbooks, and reports, following Good Documentation Practices and data integrity principles
- Maintain high safety and hygiene standards within the production environment to ensure a clean and safe workspace
- Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and validation activities in collaboration with the QA team
- Involve in non-conformance investigations and implement corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution and recurrence prevention
