Berdiri sejak tahun 1972, PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) adalah salah satu perusahaan besar kelas dunia yang bergerak di bidang agro-food industry yang berkantor pusat di area Kecamatan Pademangan Kota Jakarta Utara Provinsi DKI Jakarta. PT. CPIN berfokus mengelola bisnis perunggasan secara terpadu mulai dari produksi pakan ternak, pembibitan (day old chicks), pengolahan makanan olahan (seperti Fiesta, Champ, Okey). Selain itu, PT CPIN juga merambah ke bisniis pengelolaan & pengembangan perkebunan kelapa sawit dan juga industri minyak mentah (CPO).

PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, the largest producer of poultry feed, day old chicks and one of the largest value added food producers in Indonesia. PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (the “Company”) was established in Indonesia under the business name of PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Animal Feedmill Co. Limited, based on Notarial Deed No. 6 dated January 7, 1972 of Drs Gde Ngurah Rai, SH, Notary in Jakarta, which was amended by Notarial Deed No. 5 dated May 7, 1973 of the same notary. The Deed of Establishment was approved by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia in its Decision Letter No. YA-5/197/21 dated June 8, 1973, registered under Kepaniteraan Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat No. 2289 dated June 26, 1973, and was published in Supplement No. 573 of State Gazette No. 65 dated August 14, 1973.

The Articles of Association have been amended, most recently by Notarial Deed No. 71 dated May 23, 2019 of Fathiah Helmi, SH. The Deed has been approved by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia as stated in its Decision Letter No. AHU-0032182.AH.01.02.TAHUN 2019 dated June 21, 2019.
