Like all great things Le Pirate started from a simple idea.

The brainchild of architect / visionary Fredo Taffin, the original concept was to pre fabricate simple ecologically sound “Beach Boxes” that are totally self contained and not dependant on existing infrastructure and could be quickly assembled on the beachfront of beautiful islands thus making great locations accessible.

The first Le Pirate Beach Club introduced in Nusa Ceningan featured 10 simple ‘Beach Boxes’, a restaurant, a bar, a swimming pool and a sunset viewing deck in a prime beachfront position. The “Beach Club” was an instant success. It was soon the favoured destination of “posh packers”, adventure seekers, those who just wanted to chill far from crowds and, before too long, local celebrities. The ‘legend’ spread quickly by word of mouth and social media.

But that is just the start of the story, there are many more chapters on the horizon.
