JOB VACANCY

Pani Gold Project, one of most anticipated projects of Merdeka Copper Gold, is seeking highly qualified candidates for:

MINE PLANNING SUPERINTENDENT
Code: TS - MPS

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in mine planning within the mining industry, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role
• Strong understanding of geological models, resource estimation, and mining techniques related to gold deposits
• Proficiency in minė planning software e.g. Surpac, Hexagon MinePlan (MineSight), Vulcan, Datamine, Micromine
• Knowledge of ore body modelling, mine design, and scheduling techniques
• Having POP (Pengawas Operasional Pertama) certificate is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong decision making and problem-solving
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to analyse and interpret geological and operational data
• Willing to be placed at the Pani Gold Project site location with a schedule and working hours determined by the company

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Comply with and implement Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (K3L) regulations and play an active role in K3L activities and initiatives
2. Lead the development of comprehensive mine plans (long-term, short-term, and tactical)
3. Oversee the design of open pit, drilling and blasting designs, and waste disposal strategies
4. Ensure that mine plans align with reserve estimation models and gold recovery targets
5. Integrate geotechnical, hydrological, and environmental data into the mine design
6. Develop and manage the production schedules, ensuring that mining activities are conducted in an efficient, safe and timely manner
7. Collaborate with the production team to ensure the plans are executed according to schedule, adjusting plans based on changes in operational conditions or unexpected geological findings
8. Lead, mentor and develop the mine planning team, ensuring staff are trained and effectively managing their work responsibilities
9. Oversee the estimation of reserves and resources in collaboration with the geology team, ensuring that resource data is accurate and up to date
