The Ocean Plastic Prevention Accelerator (OPPA) is currently hiring a Visual Communication Design Intern that will assist with communications collateral production and PR activities. Final year students or fresh graduates with a Design/Communications background are encouraged to apply! We look forward to get to know you!

We are seeking a vibrant, enthusiastic intern with a background in Visual Communication Design to join the team to help make waves and grow our presence in supporting the waste economy through effective creative storytelling.

At the end of the internship, the intern will be able to demonstrate these abilities:

1. Develop communications collateral production (social media graphics, posters, video editing, etc.)
2. Deliver social media management and monitoring across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook
3. Deliver basic social and web analytics and reporting
4. Contribute in ideation of posts, minor design edits / adjustments
5. Prepare PR activities

Requirements

• Strong written and spoken English language skills
• Final year students or fresh graduate
• Proactive and flexible candidates preferred
• Ability to constructively participate as part of a project team
• Design/Communications background (Diploma or Bachelor’s in Visual Communication Design, Mass Communications, Marketing, Communications)
