The story of ALTO Network begins in 1993. Rudy Ramli as the CEO of Bali Bank found an idea to build an ATM switching company to provide solution for bank’s customers to enhance their banking activities. He initiated a joint venture with Lippo Bank and Internasional Indonesia Bank (BII) in creating PT Daya Network Lestari.
A year later, 3 other banks joined in as member. They are Panin Bank, Danamon Bank and Artha Graha Bank. It didn’t take long, however, for the company to outgrow its first office and to expand its capabilities in leading banking switching trend in Indonesia.
