Berdiri pada tahun 1991, PT Ecogreen Oleochemicals Batam (EOB) adalah produsen Natural Fatty Alcohol yang mengolah minyak alami menjadi produk oleokimia dengan kantor pusat berlokasi di area Kecamatan Setiabudi Kota Jakarta Selatan Provinsi DKI Jakarta.

Sebagai bagian dari Ecogreen Oleochemicals Group, PT. EOB mengoperasikan pabrik manufaktur yang berada di Jalan Raya Pelabuhan Kavling 1, Kabil, Kecamatan Nongsa, Kota Batam, Kepulauan Riau yang dilengkapi dengan sertifikasi internasional termasuk ISO 9001, ISO 14001, RSPO-SC, dan Halal HAS 23000 untuk memproduksi Saturated Fatty Alcohols (C8 hingga C18), Unsaturated Fatty Alcohols, Oleic Acid, Refined Glycerin, dan Specialty Esters seperti MCT untuk memenuhi permintaan kebutuhan industri kosmetik, farmasi, dan makanan.

Dalam proses produksinya, PT. EOB menggunakan bahan baku nabati (minyak kelapa / sawit) yang ramah lingkungan.

Founded in 1990, Ecogreen Oleochemicals is one of the leading producers of Natural Fatty Alcohols in the world. Ecogreen Oleochemicals has production facilities in Indonesia which producing various cuts of Saturated Fatty Alcohols (from C8 to C18). Unsaturated Fatty Alcohols (Oleyl Alcohols), Oleic Acid, Refined Glycerin and Specialty Esters such as Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT for Food, Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical and Lubricant application).

Ecogreen Oleochemicals has also Ethoxylation Plant (EMPL) in Singapore producing Fatty Alcohol Ethoxylates (downstream of fatty alcohol). In Germany, Ecogreen Oleochemicals (DHW Deutsche Hydrierwerke GmbH Rodleben) has production facilities to produce Unsaturated Fatty Alcohols (Oleyl Alcohols), Primary Fatty Amines, Specialty Esters, Sorbitol powder. In France, Ecogreen Oleochemicals (E&S Chimie) has production facilities to produce Fatty Alcohol Ethoxylates, Fatty Alcohol Esther Sulfates, Fatty Alcohol Sulfates and Specialty Esters. Currently Ecogreen Oleochemicals employs about 1,300 people globally.
