Recovered Indonesia (RECO) is an integrated plastic recycling company that recovers ocean-bound plastics in remote and coastal cities across Indonesia. Through our decentralized waste management system, we recover value from waste while empowering thousands of informal waste pickers to increase their income and overall livelihood. RECO is headquartered in Surabaya with operations in Ambon, Makassar, Gresik, and Bekasi.

RECO empowering informal wastepickers around Indonesia and employ them in RECO MRFs and Factories with Fair Wages, Safe Work Environment and Chances to increase their competencies and work in management position.

At RECO we dedicate ourselves to a more eco-friendly plastic industry. We empower Indonesia to build closed loops and a circular economy on a nationwide scale - one city at a time.

Waste from various sources ranging from households, industry, offices and business sectors such as hotels, shops and malls, is collected by City Garbage Trucks. After that, waste is collected and sorted, plastic waste that can be processed will be taken to RECO's factory to be recycled, and residue that cannot be processed will be disposed of at landfill.
