PT Munchar is a canned fish manufacturer that specializes in tuna and sardines. Our long history began when three friends established NV Munchar in 1964 to produce canned sardines. Since then, our business has prospered. The company name was changed to PT Munchar when Mr. Prajitno, one of the co-founders decided to buy out the company shares from his friends and became the sole owner. Today we offer a wide range of products that includes canned tuna, canned sardines, pure fishmeal and fish oil. PT Munchar has a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, product and service quality, best pricing and on-time delivery. We continually search for product innovation and ways to optimize our operation to stay ahead of the curve. Our company is HALAL, HACCP, SKP (GMP & SSPO) and BPOM (Indonesia's food and drug agency) certified. Our facilities are located in Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia, which is near Bali strait. The close proximity to the sea guarantees the availability and freshness of the fish that we use in our products. We support sustainable fishing practices by working closely with local small fishermen.

In our facilities, the fish is processed in a hygienic manner and our cans are hermetically sealed. Every step in our production cycle is closely controlled and monitored through our quality assurance program. As part of our continuous effort to protect the environtment, we have a waste water treatment plant in our facilities and we routinely submit our waste water processing report to the local government agency.
