PT. Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia (PT. PMI) merupakan sebuah perusahaan manufaktur elektronik ternama di Indonesia yang berdiri sejak tahun 1970. Memproduksi peralatan rumah tangga, antara lain: pompa air, AC, kulkas, mesin cuci, kipas angin, audio & video.

Perusahaan PT. Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia yang berdiri pada tahun 1970 silam ini terbentuk berkat kerjasama dua orang pengusaha asal Jepang dan Indonesia yaitu Konosuke Matshuhita dan M. Thayeb Gobel yang sebelumnya sudah mendirikan PT. Transistor Radio Manufacturing di Cawang, Jakarta, yang menjadi pelopor dari produk transistor radio pertama di Indonesia yang dikenal dengan merek “Tjawang”. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, kiprahnya terus berlanjut dan pada tahun 1967 PT Transistor Radio Manufacturing berganti nama menjadi PT Gobel Cawang Concern. Untuk mewujudkan cita-citanya, maka tepat pada tanggal 27 Juli 1970, mengukuhkan kerja samanya dengan Mr. Konosuke Matsushita dalam bentuk satu perusahaan dengan nama PT National Gobel, dengan pemegang saham 60% Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (MEI) dan 40% Gobel International (GI).

Saat ini PT. PMI adalah salah satu perusahaan yang memproduksi peralatan elektronik rumah tangga terbesar di Indonesia maupun dunia. seperti Kulkas, AC (Air Conditioner), Pompa Air, Kipas Angin, dan lain-lain, PT. PMI juga memproduksi sendiri sebagian komponen-komponen produknya, seperti komponen yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat produk kulkas yaitu Inner Liner, Inner Door, PC dan FC Tray, selebihnya komponen untuk melengkapi produk kulkas berasal dari supplier.
