Single Fired is generally known as “Monoporosa” for Wall Tile and “Monocottura” for Floor Tile. White Body tile is a material that the glaze and biscuit (Raw Tiles Body) are fired simultaneously in high temperature. Combination of this special technique with unique materials create a dense structure, low water absorption and harder glaze, which generates highly durable tiles.

It was on 1988 when PT. Wahyunusa Wahana was established and started the ceramic business by becoming the ceramic tile importer and distributor. At that time, ceramic business was seen as a big and long term business plan by PT. Wahyunusa Wahana. Therefore not so long after that, PT. Wahyunusa Wahana had expended the business by building a factory in Cikarang - Bekasi, Indonesia to produce Wall and Floor Ceramic Tiles. They were traded under the name of WHITE HORSE as brand name.
The production capacity of PT. Wahyunusa Wahana at that time was only around 900,000 m2/year and successfully doubled up to 1,800,000 m2 / year in 1996. In 1998, the business didn't go as smooth as has been planned, in fact till around 2 years later, PT. Wahyunusa Wahana was out of business, PT. Wahyunusa Wahana closed down its factory due to the Indonesian Economic Crisis.
BUT WE DIDN’T SLEEP.
In 1999, PT. Wahyunusa Wahana was back in business, only by different name. It was PT. White Horse Ceramic Indonesia. In year 2000, PT. White Horse Ceramic Indonesia has changed the trade name from WHITE HORSE to PEGASUS.
Then in 2002, PT. White Horse Ceramic Indonesia has done some expansions in the production side. It was to increase the production capacity from 1,800,000 m2 / year to 3,600,000 m2 / year and also widened the distribution networks at the same time to larger area than ever throughout Indonesia.
In 2007, again PT. White Horse Ceramic Indonesia has expended its production capacity to 7,200,000 m2/year and started to produce more type which was Glazed Porcelain. The future next step is planned to be taken place in the early of 2008, to produce Homogeneous Tile with sizes of 60 x 60 and 80 x 80 and to widen the market to Asia Pacific Region. We, PT.
