PT Ricos Farmindo operates modern chicken farms with closed house system built in 2011 on 7 ha of land in Subang, West Java, Indonesia. The farm boasts high efficiency and low operational cost with 2 operators handling 1 house of 22,500 chicks. Its annual throughput is 2.8 million chickens at the rate of 400,000 chicks per harvest and 7 harvests per year. It conducted a joint research with Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) to develop probiotic chicken. Ricos was fully divested.
