Berdiri pada 5 Januari 1996, PT TPC Indo Plastic and Chemicals adalah produsen resin Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) pertama dan utama di Jawa Timur yang berlokasi di area Kecamatan Manyar Kabupaten Gresik. Sebagai bagian dari SCG Chemicals (Siam Cement Group) asal Thailand, PT TPC Indo Plastic and Chemicals berfokus sebagai manufaktur petrokimia yang memproses Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) menjadi resin PVC dan menghasilkan sekitar 120.000 ton resin PVC per tahun.
Saat pertama kali didirikan pada tahun 1996, perusahaan ini menggunakan nama PT Siam Maspion Polymers, sebagai bentuk usaha patungan (joint venture) antara produsen lokal PT Maspion dengan PT Siam Thai Plastic and Chemical yang terafiliasi dengan korporasi asal Thailand. Perusahaan kemudian resmi mengubah namanya menjadi PT TPC Indo Plastic and Chemicals pada tahun 2006.
PT. TPC Indo Plastic and Chemicals is the first PVC resin manufacturer in East Java with a 120.000 MT product capacity that located in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia.
PT. TPC Indo Plastic and Chemicals is a part of SCG (Siam Cement Group) Corporation, an ASEAN big business conglomerate from Thailand that have three core business units: SCG Cement-Building Materials, SCG Chemicals, and SCG Packaging. In 1996, PT. TPC Indo Plastic and Chemicals was established as a company named PT Siam Maspion Polymers and changed its name to PT. TPC Indo Plastics and Chemicals in 2006.
PT. TPC Indo Plastic and Chemicals process plants polymerized vinyl chloride monomer (VCM) and processed it into poly-vinyl chloride (PVC) resin products. Our products can be used for raw material of raincoats, cables, pipes, shoes soles, curtains, and other materials based on plastic that are useful for human daily needs. Operated by Japan Technology Distributed Control System (DCS), PT TPC Indo Plastic and Chemicals always ensures the quality of its products through high-efficiency processes.
