SALAK HOSPITALITY is a brand of Hotel Operation and Management Service (HOMS) which has valuable experience in developing and operating Hotel Salak The Heritage and Salak Tower Hotel. Hotel Salak The Heritage is a 4-star hotel located in the center of Bogor city. It has experience in managing Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) events for more than 18 years. Many VIP guests from both domestic and international region held meetings, conferences, weddings and parties in our hotel, such as the visit of US President George W. Bush in 2006, Royal Family of Japan in 2008, United Nations for Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC), and the President of Republic of Indonesia. Hotel Salak The Heritage has been the icon of Bogor and becomes a benchmark for other surrounding hotels. It has received some outstanding awards, such as Certificate of Appreciation from the White House of the USA and many more. Hotel Salak The Heritage has 140 rooms, 14 meeting rooms, and 2 ballrooms. Salak Tower Hotel is the tallest hotel building in Bogor. It is a 4-star hotel located in Salak Street No. 38-40. It is a MICE hotel with modern classic design. The hotel has 20 floors, 150 rooms and 11 meeting rooms and ballroom. Salak Tower Hotel was opened in March 2016, and currently has been fully operated.
SALAK HOSPITALITY Hotel Operation and Management Service (HOMS) was formed in 2013, and is affiliated with BHI Hospitality School, the largest hospitality and tourism school in Bogor. Our aim is to support hotel and property owners to maximize their business profits and develop their own brand and operator by perfectly combining hospitality knowledge and industrial experience into more effective and efficient hotel operation. In general, hotel properties produce relatively high profits or direct operational margins; however, if the profits are deducted by royalty fees of brand owner/companies or operators, the profits will significantly decrease. Hotel owners usually pay whole operation cost, including promotion cost of its brand, even though the brand is owned by somebody else. The value of the brand will increase along with the promotion activities, but the hotel owners do not get any benefit from the increased value of the brand.
The majority of hotel guests in Indonesia are domestic guests, and in fact almost all hotels with clean and professional services are fully occupied. This shows that the hotels have already relatively high selling values for domestic guests; therefore, hotel owners will only need to maintain the cleanliness and operational standards and their consistency, and do not need any other hotel brands or operators if owners are willing to operate it by themselves. Hotel owners can also develop their own brand and management to run the operation of their properties.
