Berdiri sejak tahun 1968 / 1973, PT Sekar Bumi Tbk (SKBM) adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufaktur dengan memproduksi makanan beku hasil laut bernilai tambah, seperti udang dan ikan, serta produk makanan olahan beku. Beberapa produk Sekar Bumi yang dikenal di pasaran Indonesia antara lain Finna, Bumifood, Mitraku dan SKB. Selain untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar domestik, produk Sekar Bumi juga telah diekspor ke beberapa negara di antaranya ke Amerika Serikat, Jepang dan Asia, serta Eropa.

1966: Started Harry Susilo Private Limited as a marine products trading company.

1968: Started supplying shrimp and marine products to Toyo Menka Company and renamed Sekar Private Ltd. after proposed capital injection by Toyo Menka Company into Sekar Private Ltd. or otherwise later known as PT Sekar Bumi Tbk to help Mr Harry Susilo build cold chain facilities in Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia,

1976: Sekar Private Ltd. expanded into Agricultural Commodities with Shrimp Cracker as their product.

1980s: Sekar Private Ltd. pioneer the first industrialised Shrimp Cracker Manufacturing and became a supplier of partially processed Shrimp Crackers for Japan’s Marubeni Corporation.

1990s: Sekar Private Ltd. expanded and became known as Sekar Group after diversifying into Real Estate for Agricultural, Housing and Tourism.

1993: Sekar Group listed PT Sekar Laut Tbk and PT Sekar Bumi Tbk on the Indonesian Stock Exchange, as well as Inaugurated Finna Golf & Country Club.

2008: Sekar Group’s cashew plantation in Southeast Sulawesi discovered Nickel Deposit in its land concession and received the Mining Business Permit for Exploration.

2009: Sekar Group developed aquaculture land for Shrimp Cultivation in West Nusa Tenggara Province.

2011: Sekar Group upgraded the Mining Business Permit for Operation and Production of Nickel Mining in Southeast Sulawesi.

2014: Sekar Group developed Nickel Smelting Business in Southeast Sulawesi and Endowed the Harry Susilo Institute for Ethics in a Global Economy (IEGE)) at Boston University’s School of Management.

2019: Sekar Group listed Nickel Miner and Smelter PT IFISHDECO Tbk on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and invested into Healthcare by acquiring RS Asih in South Jakarta.
