Project Economist Intern

Job Descriptions:

1. Assist in updating the financial models for Merdeka projects.
2. Work with other Merdeka personnel to update capital and operating cost inputs to project evaluations.
3. Collect data from Merdeka operations to assist in benchmarking of project feasibility study capital and operating cost inputs against actual costs at Merdeka operations
4. Where available, collect relevant capital and operating cost data from other Indonesian mining operations and projects (non-Merdeka) to assist in benchmarking of Merdeka project capital and operating cost estimates
5. Liaise with Merdeka commercial personnel regarding royalties, taxation, depreciation and other accounting treatments and ensure they are rfected in project financial models
6. Contribute to the preparation of feasibility study documentation as necessary

Qualifications:

• Fresh graduates from Engineering, Finance or related fields (Final semester students with no classes to attend are welcome to apply).
• Having high level understanding about mining industry and process
• Having the ability to high level critical thinking, analysis and reasoning
• Strong in ms excel and data analysis
• Fluent in English comfortable to write and speak English as daily conversation
