GRADUATE METALLURGIST

Wetar Copper Mine, one of project of Merdeka Copper Gold, is seeking highly qualified candidates for this position.

Overview:

• This role is responsible to support the Plant Metallurgist and Senior Metallurgist in day-to-day metallurgical project and daily production routines

Key Responsibilities:

1. Comply with and implement Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental regulations
2. Support operation team by provide and maintain plant parameter target
3. Assist in plant operation problem solving and provide techincal insight
4. Manage metallurgical accounting system and generate report
5. Plan and conduct metallurgical laboratory testwork
6. Analyze and present test findings to internal stakeholders
7. Collaborate with Mining, Maintenance and Logistic team to resolve technical challanges and ensure production efficiency

Requirements:

• Possess education Bachelor of Metallurgical Engineering
• Have min. 3 years of work experience in similar position in extraction / processing mine site
• Strong understanding of mass balance and copper extraction process
• Ability to do mass balance and metallurgical accounting system
• Proficiency in sampling practices, lab analysis and familiar with metallurgical testwork program
• Comfortable in demanding and collaborative work environment
• Willing to be placed in Wetar, Maluku with roster 4 weeks on-site and 2 weeks off (leave will be fully accomodated to Point of Hire)
• Willingness working on a contract basis
