Ceria was founded on March 18, 1992, Notary Mestariany Habie, SH. Ceria is a mining company that possesses abundant natural resources and implements sustainable practices, leveraging a team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals. It specializes in supplying high-quality, environmentally friendly nickel products, from upstream to downstream. Ceria has abundant natural resources needed for energy transition, with rich Nickel and Cobalt deposits and a solid commitment to HSE and ESG compliance. Ceria's business roadmap focuses on developing Nickel RKEF Smelter and HPAL Plants. With sustainable Nickel processing technology, Ceria produces Ferronickel and MHP for further processing into battery precursors and cathode materials for Electric Vehicle (EV) batteries. The plan also encompasses building an integrated and localized battery industry park to support the energy transition into clean energy.
Its establishment initially had business goals covering various fields, including:

Furthermore, Ceria renewed the company's legal status through notary Nini Savitry, SH on May 25, 2011 and has obtained approval from the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number AH.01.10.18542 with a specialized business sector in the mining sector, particularly nickel ore mining. In the same year 2011, Ceria participated in an auction for the release of the Lapao-pao Block, which previously became the PT INCO Contract of Work area. On this basis, Ceria upgraded its status to Exploration IUP in 2011, and in 2012, Ceria obtained a Production Operation IUP with an area of 6,785 hectares in Wolo District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province.
